Anthony Anselmo, Board Chairman
Fifth Third Bank
Anthony Anselmo joined Fifth Third Bank (Tampa Bay) in 2005 and currently serves as Vice President and Business Banking Team Lead. In this role, Anthony manages a team of Business Banking Relationship Managers responsible for providing needs-based financial solutions for Tampa Bay area businesses. Anthony has over 15 years of banking experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He enjoys coaching youth soccer and is married with three children.
Charleen Ramus Jaffe, Secretary/Treasurer
Mandelbaum, Fitzsimmons, Hewitt & Cain, P.A.
Charleen Ramus Jaffe was formerly on the BAYS Board of Directors in the 1990’s before she moved to Naples, FL and then rejoined the Board in 2014, after returning to the Tampa Bay area. She graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. and from Stetson University College of Law with a J.D. She practices employment law with Mandelbaum, Fitzsimmons, Hewitt & Cain, P.A., representing employers & employees in both litigation and non-litigation matters. Ms. Jaffe is also a private pilot, holds a Florida real estate broker’s license and is a graduate of Leadership Lee County.
Charles E. Klug, Director
Tampa Port Authority
Charles E. Klug is the Chief Legal Officer of the Tampa Port Authority; Florida’s largest and most cargo-diverse seaport. Mr. Klug is currently responsible for the oversight of the legal, procurement, environmental, government relations and human resources departments of the Port Authority. He has served as General Counsel for the Tampa Port Authority since 2004 and served as Deputy Port Director for Administration, responsible for the legal, procurement, environmental, real estate and marketing departments of the Port Authority, from 2008 to 2013. Mr. Klug was a partner with the law firm of Gray Robinson, P.A., before his appointment as General Counsel, where he concentrated his practice in the areas of commercial real estate, local government, land use and environmental law. Mr. Klug received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida, College of Business in 1983 (with Honors) and a J.D. from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1986. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986 and has been certified by the Florida Bar as specialist in Real Estate Law since 1993 and as a specialist in City, County and Local Government Law since 1998.
Teri Simpson, Director
University of South Florida
Teri Simpson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, as well as her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of South Florida. Much of her clinical work has focused on working with adolescent girls and their families. For 12 years Teri has worked on the administrative and planning side of social service systems in program development, grant writing, evaluation, and consultation. In her previous position as Senior Vice President of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay she has maintained various contracts with the State of Florida (DJJ, DCF, FDLE etc.), the Federal Government (Dept. of Health and Human Services, Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention) various community funders, and partner organizations. She is currently the Director of Field Education for the School of Social Work, College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the University of South Florida. Originally from the Midwest, Teri has lived in Tampa for 25 years. She enjoys boating, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, biking and spending time with kids (grandchildren and her own Little Sisters in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program).
Major Willie L. Parker, Jr., Director
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Retired
Major Willie Parker started with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in 1980, as a detention deputy. Then in 1982, he was assigned to the Malcolm E. Beard Sheriff’s Operations Center in Ybor City as a patrol deputy. Throughout his career Major Parker was also assigned to Patrol, working in Districts I, II, III & IV, and eventually transferred to the Street Crimes Unit in DIV. In 1985, he was promoted to detective where he was assigned to investigate property crimes. Major Parker moved on from there to the Special Investigations Division where he worked as a narcotics detective. He was subsequently assigned as a deputy in the Selective Enforcement Unit. Upon promotion to corporal, Major Parker was assigned supervisory roles in District I, III & IV, as well as the Child Protective Investigations Division. Major Parker is recently retired as the Commander of the Community Outreach Division, which is responsible for various community projects, the school resource deputies, elementary school presentations/programs, the crossing guards, and coordination of the Volunteer Citizen Patrol Program. This division also interacts with businesses and neighborhoods to teach crime prevention programs as well as to support the citizens in the community. Major Parker attended Hillsborough Community College where he earned his Associate in Arts Degree. From there, he attended the University of South Florida, earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s 112th Administrative Officers’ Course and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree at Saint Leo University.
Angeline Cunningham, Director
Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office
Angeline Cunningham is the newest member of BAYS Board of Directors and she is the Director of Operations for the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Office. Among her day-to-day tasks, she is responsible for maintaining the agency’s inventory of over $9 million dollars in capital assets including shipping and receiving, daily asset tracking and conducting annual audits. Her duties also include overseeing the maintenance of the integrity of the voter registration database through regular and comprehensive list maintenance and eligibility reviews. Additionally, she is responsible for developing methods, materials, and systems that assure compliance with Florida Statutes, rules, and election best practices in operational and support service areas. In her leadership role, she ensures that she and her staff are committed to the policies and procedures that inspire confidence in the voting system for the voters of Hillsborough County. Angeline lived abroad for much of her childhood. She graduated from Hillsborough Senior High School, and earned her bachelor’s degree in criminology from the University of South Florida.
Danny Camacho, Director
Hillsborough Community College
Mr. Danny Camacho serves as the Assistant Dean for the Math & Sciences at the Dale Mabry Campus of Hillsborough Community College. Mr. Camacho has more than 20 years of experience in education, most recently serving as Assistant Principal for a charter high school serving at-risk and underserved students. Prior to that, Mr. Camacho worked with incarcerated youth as an English teacher, and was also a band director for many years before that. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After serving, he earned a dual Bachelor Degree in Education and Fine Art at the University of South Florida, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He returned to USF in 2004 to earn a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. He is a member of the Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago Education Foundation, West Tampa of Chamber of Commerce, and previously served as a Guardian Ad Litem in Circuit 13. Mr. Camacho is proud to be a long-time Tampa resident and 3-TIME University of South Florida Bull, currently pursuing his Doctor of Education degree in Program Development with an Emphasis in Educational Innovation.
Jeff Hausinger, Director
All Seasons Wealth
Jeff is the President of All Seasons Wealth, an independent Raymond James practice. Jeff earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2005, followed by the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation in 2007. A graduate of Florida State University, Jeff has worked as a Financial Advisor since February of 1999 at Morgan Stanley, AIG, and Merrill Lynch, before founding All Seasons Wealth and affiliating with Raymond James. Jeff and his family are very active in their community; Jeff was a founding board member of Warrick Dunn Charities where he served for over ten years and continues to be involved today. Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors for the First Tee of Tampa Bay, where he helps bring the programs Nine Core Values to youth in our community. Jeff is also a volunteer for our local PGA tournament the Valspar Championship held annually at Innisbrook Resort. Jeff serves as a “Copperhead” committee member helping raise funds for local charities and volunteering time to help the tournament grow and succeed. Jeff and his family have annually supported several other charities in the community including Habitat for Humanity, Lifepath Hospice, Seretoma-USF, Metropolitan Ministries, and the Salvation Army. Jeff and his wife Stacy are active volunteers at their kids’ school, Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa. Jeff, Stacy, and children Heidi and Augie live in Tampa, and his interests include golf, fishing, running, and exercising, and also shuttling his kids around to soccer, basketball and lacrosse.
Dr. Pam Alvarez, President/Chief Executive Officer
Pam Alvarez joined BAYS in June 2010. Pam earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, as well as a Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. Her clinical social work has focused on working with adolescents and families. For the last 25+ years she has worked on the administrative and planning side of social service systems in program development, grant writing, evaluation, and leadership. Pam serves as an adjunct faculty member of at the University of Phoenix. Her research areas of interest include gender-specific services and leadership. Originally from Wisconsin, Pam has lived in Tampa for 20+years and is married to a Tampa native. She enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, and supporting the Tampa Bay Rays!
