BAYS Florida has been selected as one of 2020’s Top 100 Workplaces in the Tampa Bay Region.  This marks the fourth time that BAYS has made the list, following its inaugural appearance in 2015.  The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“For more than a decade, the Top Workplaces award has helped organizations stand out among their competitors to attract talent,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “Establishing a continuous conversation with employees so you have a deep understanding of your unique culture is proven to help achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels.”

BAYS Florida was organized and chartered as a Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation on April 19, 1982. The agency celebrating its 38th Anniversary this year, was developed with the objective of improving the quality of life and increasing the potential of Florida’s youth. Since that time, BAYS Florida has provided high quality and professional youth and family services throughout the State of Florida and has grown into a multi-faceted organization with over 100 employees and services throughout the State of Florida.

“We are extremely proud of the work that we have accomplished over our 38-year history”, said Robert Patterson, BAYS Florida's President and CEO.  “Our work can be stressful and challenging, but being named as a Top 100 Workplace again, illustrates that we can continue to grow and change as an organization and provide high quality services and value to our clients and employees at the same time.  The changing non-profit landscape of the 21st century requires that we continually improve in both areas.  Our employees deserve all of the credit for helping so many children and their families and for making BAYS a Top 100 Workplace.  We value our employees as much as the families that we serve and this survey puts all of that into perspective” Patterson said.
